WEST ZONE CAPTURES FIRST 2009
BRONCO 11 WORLD SERIES CROWN

The West Zone Bronco 11 Champions took their winning ways back to Virginia with them and defeated Mexico 6-3 in the championship round of the first ever Bronco 11 World Series. The all-star team from Walnut California performed very well in the tournament. Although they finished second to Mexico in their pool they came back in the championship to win when it counted. In addition to the team title, two of the team members came home with additional accomplishments. Sergio Robles was the winner of the Wilson Batting Average Award with an average of .667 during the tournament. Jason Juarez won the Easton ERA Award as well with an average of 2.33 during the series. We are all very proud of the great performances turned in by the team from Walnut Valley.
