7/13/2009 East Zone Travel/Select Mustang 10U Softball Nationals Concludes and a winner announced. East Zone Travel/Select Mustang 10U Softball Nationals were held July 7th -11th, 2009 in Wilmington DE. They were hosted by Midway Girls Softball.
The tournament included 20 teams. Pool play was held on the 7th, seeding teams for bracket play on the 8th to the morning of the 11th. Late morning saw the 2 semifinal round games played and then early afternoon the Championship Game was held.
The score was 7-6 Triple Threat Lady Tigers over the Central Jersey Lightning in the final game. It went to the bottom of the 7th, very close exciting game all the way through.
