Pony League World Series : Game 17

Game 17 of the Pony League World Series has concluded.  This game was the first of two if-necessary games today.  The participants were Chinese Taipei, Taiwan and Levittown (Toa Baja), PR.  Final score of the game was Chinese Taipei, Taiwan (4) and Levittown (Toa Baja), PR (2).

This eliminates Levittown (Toa Baja), PR from the tournament.

Chinese Taipei advances to the 2009 Pony League World Series Championship game after defeated Puerto Rico 4-2 in an eight inning “if necessary” game.
Toa Baja, PR took the lead in the third inning, scoring a run on a wild pitch. Chinese Taipei scored two runs in the fifth inning on errors to take a 2-1 lead.
Cheng Nan Chang sealed the Chinese Taipei win with a 2-run homerun in the 8th inning.
