Championship Game: Monterrey, Mexico (6) vs. Prague, Czech Republic (1)

Carlos Johan Amaro Santibanez was dominant on the mound, as they rang up 10 strikeouts in Monterrey, Mexico's 6-1 victory over Prague, Czech Republic on Tuesday. Amaro Santibanez surrendered two hits and one run over seven innings while walking two. Monterrey, Mexico got on the board in the top of the fourth inning after Enrique HInojosa Leal doubled, scoring two runs, Diego Alvardo Torres singled, scoring two runs, and Jesus Isai Garza Colunga drew a walk, scoring one run. Filip Němec opened the game for Prague, Czech Republic. They surrendered five hits and five runs over three and two-thirds innings, striking out three and walking four.

HInojosa Leal seized on their opportunities, leading Monterrey, Mexico with two runs batted in from the number nine spot in the lineup. The infielder went 1-for-3 on the day. Jan Mulač led Prague, Czech Republic with one run batted in. Prague, Czech Republic turned two double plays in the game.
