Following the conclusion of the Women’s National Team Training Camp, USA Baseball has officially announced its final 20-woman roster on Monday, June 18. This elite group will represent the United States at the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) Women’s Baseball World Cup Group Stage next month in Rockford, Illinois.
The roster features several notable PONY Baseball and Softball alumnae, including Kelsie Whitmore, Jillian Albayati, and Olivia Pichardo.
Kelsie Whitmore marks a historic 10th appearance with the National Team, having debuted in 2014 at just 16 years old.
Jillian Albayati and Olivia Pichardo both return for their fourth appearances with Team USA.
The finalized roster will reconvene in Chicago, Illinois, for a pre-tournament training camp from July 16–20 before traveling to the tournament site. The WBSC Women’s Baseball World Cup Group Stage will officially run from July 22–26.
