Day 4 Recaps of the Palomino World Series

Day 4 Game 18 Recap: Laredo, TX (8) vs. Youngstown, OH (7)

Laredo, TX defeated Youngstown, OH 8-7 on Monday after taking the lead late in the game. Laredo, TX were down 7-6 in the top of the sixth inning when Daniel Gonzales doubled, scoring two runs.

Laredo, TX came back to win despite trailing 6-2 in the fourth.

Laredo, TX got on the board in the first inning after Roman Martinez grounded out, scoring one run.

Youngstown, OH took the lead in the bottom of the first inning after Laredo, TX committed an error, and Kyle Gilson grounded out, each scoring one run.

Julio Hernandez stepped on the bump first for Laredo, TX. The starter surrendered three hits and one run over six and two-thirds innings, striking out seven and walking one.

C Peng led Taoyuan County, Chinese Taipei with one run batted in. The infielder went 2-for-4 on the day. Taoyuan County, Chinese Taipei turned one double play in the game.
