Placentia 10U Outlaws Recognized by Local Organizations

Recently the Placentia 10U Outlaws ended their 2019 season with an overall record of 45-17-3. They ended their All Star season with a 17-2 record, taking first place in their Districts, Regions, Super Regions, West Zones, and the International World Series! Representing the West Zone and the United States in Youngsville, Louisiana, they beat Mexico 12-8 in the final World Series game to become the International World Series Champions. While in Louisiana, the boys especially loved meeting players from other states and countries and they enjoyed eating beignets! 

Since the World Series, the team has been recognized by a few local organizations. On September 10th, Placentia Mayor Rhonda Hood-Shader and the Placentia City Council recognized the team for their hard work and determination. On September 15th, the Los Angeles Angels welcomed the Outlaws onto the field with other local State, National and World Championship teams, and the boys especially enjoyed meeting Angels pitcher, Griffin Canning. On October 12th, the Placentia Outlaws were honored as the Grand Marshals of the 55th Annual Placentia Heritage Parade  The team and coaches rode in a retired Placentia fire truck, and their families followed behind supporting them along the parade route. Afterward, the Placentia Community Foundation recognized the team, and then later, the Chair of the 33rd Annual Car Show presented the team with gifts. Congratulations to the Placentia Outlaws on an outstanding season!
