2023 PONY Girls Baseball World Series

Dear PONY International and Travel/Select Teams,

We Japan PONY Baseball Association, are very pleased to extend our invitation for your teams to participate in our 2023 PONY Girls Baseball World Series tournament in Japan.

This will be the FIRST World Series for GIRLS Baseball for PONY International. The event will be held in Tochigi, Japan. The team check-in is on July 30th (Sun) and the Opening Ceremony is on July 31 2023. The tournament games begin on Monday, July 31st through [Friday, August 4], 2023.

All interested teams are welcome to participate. The tournament categories are: (i) 15U and (ii) free age above 16. Each team can register up to 18 players plus 3 coaches/manager(s).

Each team will pay the registration fee as follows:
1) Daily pay of US$120.00 per registered member (players and coaches/manager)
2) Daily pay of US$150.00 per other participant (including guardians and staffs)
There will be no additional costs other than those listed above for participation in the tournament.

These registration fees will need to be paid in advance.

The Host will be offering the following:
1) Hotel rooms and three (3) meals for all teams during the event.
2) Various party events
3) Local transportation to and from the airport to the hotel and to/from the fields
4) Five (5) games guaranteed.

If any team from your zone is interested to participate, please notify us the number of participating teams by December 31 2022. (It will be used as a reference for securing a baseball field and a hotel. Formal application forms will be sent out in February 2023.) We plan to fix the number of teams by March 31, 2023 and ask each team to complete the registration by May 15, 2023.
